Here's the first half of a lesson on classic contour drawing exercises. In this video I show how to create a continuous line drawing, never lifting the pen off the paper. The point is to train your eye and brain to work in new ways.

What a wonderful improvement with the second camera on the details!! And the marker is good because you can see the mark on the paper, as well as having that nice brush effect!! I loved this lesson and contour drawing is one of my favorites!!

These markers are quite nice, they're Copic design markers. One end is a traditional wedge, but the other end has a brush-like tip. They're expensive, but seem to last a while.
I used to hate markers, but I've come to enjoy their speed and rich color.
