Foreshortening Drawing Lesson, Part I

Hi Guys!
Here's another drawing lesson.

In the first part I draw a shoe in a flat, non-foreshortened view. I use an underdrawing, then fill in with a combination of gesture, modeling, and some contour lines.

In the second part I draw the same shoe in a foreshortened view (see next post). I try to create the illusion that the toe of the pump comes off the page, into our space.

I hope you enjoy the video, and have a wonderful holiday season!
